## BigCommerce Developer Needed – Theme Update + Small Website Changes

We are looking for an **experienced BigCommerce developer** to make a number of updates to an established UK eCommerce website:

This is **not a redesign or rebuild**. The website is already live and functioning well.

The main requirement is to safely update the existing BigCommerce theme/platform components while preserving the website's current appearance and any custom modifications that have previously been made.

### Work required

**BigCommerce / Theme**

* BigCommerce is showing updates available for **Roots and Cornerstone**.
* The existing theme has had modifications, so these updates must be completed **without overwriting or breaking the current design, layouts or functionality**.
* Review the current theme/customisations before updating.
* Update the appropriate theme components safely.
* Test the website after updating across desktop and mobile.

**Apps**

BigCommerce is also displaying:

"One or more of your apps requires an update."

Please identify the app requiring the update, safely update it and test the relevant functionality afterwards.

**Website content changes**

There are also a number of straightforward content updates:

* Update supplied text on the **About Us** page.
* Replace one existing About Us photograph with a new supplied photograph.
* Update supplied text on the **Showroom** page.
* Change the showroom location in an FAQ from Nottingham to **Ilkeston**.
* Remove the visible **Klarna payment option/reference from the footer**.
* Update the **Delivery** page from DHL to DPD, including checking all existing DHL references.

All replacement copy/content will be supplied clearly, so no copywriting is required.

### Important

Because this is an established eCommerce website, we need someone who understands **BigCommerce and Stencil themes specifically**.

The theme has previously been customised. We do not want an automated theme update applied that removes or overwrites those modifications.
