Software to read email attachment XML-File and add the data to a (SQL-) Database

Description of requirements/functionality: Hi Folks,

I am looking for a way to save data from xml-files which I receive by email attachments in a data base. The data in the xml file is from new customers which I have to contact after receiving the mail including the attachment. The best would be, to save the data in a small CRM system, but right now I am not working with such a system. maybe someone has an idea in this case too.
First I just want to save the data just in database to use it for further mailings etc.
