Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We are a small independent recruitment consultancy operating an internal bond adapt operating system. We have been using adapt for nearly 10 years and have been on their Admin 1 and Config 1 courses. We have been using Bond's system support for the majority of the time, but about 12 months ago we decided that it wasn't offering good value and ended our support contract.
Throughout the last year we have managed to maintain the system and carry out the necessary checks satisfactory, including any gtchks and file rebuilds etc. However we are currently experiencing a couple of problems that we would like some assistance with:
1. our overnight processes are not running automatically. We can run them manually via the adapt shell (run magic1, runacid 1, runsic 1) but they are failing to do it automatically.
2. We are having a problem with mu.exe
3. Demon log showing errors (which could be causing problems above). The log is currently showing:
DEMON set to "N" in registry
====== demon - Session stopped @ Thu Sep 22 16:02:07 2011
====== demon - Session started @ Mon Oct 10 15:51:11 2011
====== demon - PATH is:
d:/Adaptv9/progs/bin;d:/Adaptv9/progs/txt;d:/Adaptv9/progs/msc;C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Small Business Server\Networking\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\binn\
====== demon - demon has PID 8104
SEEK started (pid 3416)
====== demon - seek has PID 3416
====== demon - pc has PID 4252
====== demon - agent has PID 4476
'Aback' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
We would be interested to hear from you in regards to fixing these problems and a possible ad hoc support arrangement if future problems materialise.
Many thanks
Andrew
