Description
Experience Level: Entry
I need some data from a MS Access database, I know where the data is and what I intend to do. But I never use Access and I have usability problems.
Teamviewer, MS Access 2013, 500MB Database, final result should be small enough for export to Excel (4k rows, 6 columns)
1. Filter for a variable CIPCODE with a specific number(7) of characters:
01 irrelevant
01.00 irrelevant
01.0001 relevant
(I somehow failed to apply LEN)
And apply a few simple, already working filters. This gives us the total number of items/rows.
2. Divide total numbers of items/rows by 3 categories / variable AWLEVEL (3;5;7).
3. Match UNITID with name INSTNM from different table
4. Output the total number and the number by category per UNITID / INSTNM into Excel table
