As discussed, the scope is:
- Move 2 websites from servers to AWS including the databases
- Create an EC2 instance with CPanel running for both websites
- Provide ftp access for both websites (development & production)
- SSL certificiate on both websites
- RDS instance for the databases
- RDS databases to backup daily
- websites restricted to only allow traffic from the UK
- penetration testing to ensure website is fully secure
- S3 bucket setup so that the website can output documents to it
Project is successfully signed off when I can log in to the wordpress websites (both dev and prod) and see them fully working.
The migration is to take place on Thursday 13 August, although prep work can take place prior to this.
