Description
Experience Level: Expert
We have a Shopify store that needs to provide a feed to a third party organisation similar to Google Shopping. There are some fields that they require that we do not currently input and so we would need to add these to our Shopify data going forward.
Please see information below from the third party:
"All I need from you is a CSV file's weblink/url, which contains all your products, one per line, and the columns are datas (brand, color etc...).
This file has to be host on your server, it's very similar than a shopping feed file, like google shopping.
Every 2 hours, our import tool will scan the file's url, and make the adjustment. If you have added new product in the file, they will be created.
If you have removed a product from the file (because you sold it on an another plateform), our tool will remove it from sell.
In technical terms, it's a cronjob wich update the file everyday from your database.
- The file's column separator has to be a ","
- We have some requireds datas : Your id's (sku), brand, category and material, etc ...
- The images can be in one column, separated by ";"
