Description
I have a server running Ubuntu with Webmin, Apache, and MariaDB. Unfortunately, three days ago, MariaDB stopped working. I attempted several fixes but couldn’t resolve the issue, so I decided to reinstall MariaDB. Before reinstalling, I made a full backup of the /var/lib/mysql/ directory, which I still have.
After reinstalling MariaDB, I restored the old database files. However, when I try to access the databases through the Webmin Database Management Panel, I receive the following error for every database:
Fatal Error!
SQL show index from atwp_actionscheduler_claims failed: Table 'abiyetakim.atwp_actionscheduler_claims' doesn't exist in engine.
I host several small WordPress sites, and all my websites are affected.
I’m looking for an expert who can help me restore the databases. I’ve checked the backup files on my local machine, and I can see the text inside them, indicating the files are not corrupted.
I am offering a $20 reward for someone who can help me resolve this issue.
If you’re an expert and can help, I will provide my server’s root password once your proposal is accepted.
I look forward to receiving proposals from reliable professionals.
Thank you!
Recep K.

Can you please confirm if you still have a backup of .frm and ibd files from the previous installation?

Hi Recep,
Thanks for reaching out. Before I can help you restore the MariaDB databases and get your WordPress sites running again, I need a bit more information about the backup you made. The success of the recovery depends on exactly which files you have from the old MariaDB installation.
Could you please check your backup folder and let me know if you see the following files:
ibdata1, ib_logfile0 and ib_logfile1
A folder for each of your databases (like /var/lib/mysql/yourdbname) — these usually contain .frm, .ibd, and sometimes .MYD/.MYI files.
Depending on what files you have in your backup—especially whether ibdata1 and the full database folders are included—I can determine how easy and realistic the database recovery will be. With a full backup, it’s usually straightforward; without certain key files, recovery is still possible but more complex and time-consuming.
