Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: I need a password extracted from browser cookies or browser history
Database management system (DBMS): Other
Description of requirements/features: Currently using Chrome synced browser. Widnows 7 desktop.
I own a company and we have serveral smart phones and computers that run through our browser. Our reps have smartphones assigned to them. Each phones runs our browser but each phone has a separate account with the service provider. www.BoostMobile.com. They can log into their account online and see activity for billing.
One of our reps is making personal calls with company air time. As the owner, I can ask the carrier to provide me with records but they insist on resetting the password at that time. I do not wish to reset the password or to alert him that I am looking into his use.
We have passwords assigned to each phone. Abpout a month ago, he reset the password to his online account. It is a four digit numeric password to go online and view call logs.
Since he changed the password on this phone he has NOT used our company computer to log into his account but his activity goes through our syned browser.
From looking at the browser history, I was able to see him access the account. I clicked on teh link in our history and it allowed me to log into the account with his password. This is not stored in a password saving progrram. Somehow it was stored in our browser history so I think cookies? I dont know how that works. Anyway, the link no longer gets us into that account but the links are still there.
Somehow, that password was stored in our browser. I wish to get it right away.
Extra notes: I need this asap
