Description
Experience Level: Entry
Task is to write a Filemaker Pro Script for Spell Checking
1. Runs in Filemaker Pro 15 (or later).
2. When script is launched. the user is presented with a dialog box.
2.1. If there is a found set, then the dialog has one number to fill and two radio buttons plus two control buttons:
• Number of records to spell check , NRC
• First radio button selects “Check in found set” and by default is selected
• Second radio button selects “Check to end of database” and by default is NOT selected
• Only one radio button may be selected
• Control buttons are
• “OK” (run script with parameters specified in dialog box.) and
• “Cancel” exit the script and return.
2.2. If there is NO found set, the dialog has one number to fill and two control buttons:
• Number of records to spell check
• Control buttons are
• “OK” (run script with parameters specified in dialog box.) and
• “Cancel” exit the script and return.
3. Script will then spell check from current record to (current record + NRC) in chosen records. If (current record + NRC) is larger that the number of records in chosen records, then spell check is simply run until there are no more records to check.
4. I can aend you a small sample FM pro data base to implement and test the script..

The routine is clear, thank you.
