Excel Worksheet, shorten column of cells to 70 characters
I have an excel worksheet. Specifically cells worksheet A1-A3604
each cell contains English text. some cells are under 70 characters, some cells are over 70 characters
I need to have each cell text to be maximum 70 characters.
I did use the LEFT command myself =LEFT(A1:A3604,70), however it only changes the appearance of the 3604 cells to 70 max, however I actually want the physical text to be shortened permanently to 70 characters max, so then I can copy/paste them out later to another excel file without any formulas
It is a quick <5 minute edit for an expert so the offer reflects this
