Database Build for Canada Relocation Pathways

A few questions before proceeding:

I'm looking to create an exhaustive list. I believe that when all sub-streams are included that is probably 80+ pathways.

I already have a template of the information that I'm looking to collect but am also open to having people critique it but that is not really the scope of this project.

This project will be a one-time "gig" but if I find someone who is good to work with I will definitely want someone long-term as immigration and visas are constantly evolving and changing so am definitely looking for someone long-term eventually.

Processing times and fees are critical but it is also important to have citations for "last verified date" as these constantly change. I think the template should answer that once I share it (Finalizing fields).

I'm more concerned with the research/data component of this project initially and am not looking for legal interpretation or summaries. Having said that, I am interested in discussing nuances for perhaps a "notes" or "description" of the program that gives a high-level overview but once again that's out of scope. It's a great question and is definitely something I want but not necessarily at this time.

My timeline for this project for the initial phase 1 will be less than 1 week but I am looking to scale this to other countries as well.

My approach would be to research and verify each pathway directly from official federal and provincial government sources, capture all required data points in your template, and provide source citations along with "last verified" dates to support future maintenance and updates.

Before submitting a formal proposal, could you please share the budget range you have allocated for this initial phase? Understanding your expectations will help me tailor the scope and level of review accordingly.

One additional question: for Phase 1, would you like the database to cover only permanent residence pathways, or should it also include temporary pathways such as work permits, study permits, visitor visas, entrepreneur programs, and other temporary residence streams?

I also appreciate that this may evolve into a longer-term engagement. A well-structured database with source tracking and verification dates will make ongoing updates significantly more efficient as immigration policies change.
