I have MS Access script which need to be converted as SQL query. I will share MS Access script if you understand below requirement.
We have an existing table with 56 columns. We have to update the table by adding 9 columns withe few conditions as mentioned below.
There are 9 distict values in columnX (Ex: 'AdminFee', 'Broker', 'CustomFee' etc....)
First identify all the records with a value (Ex: 'AdminFee') from columnX, for which we want to find the value in Column Y (PCT_value/100 as Column Y).
Once identified,I want each active ColumnX value to be a column header and then ColumnY to be the value that populates in each of the corresponding columns. It will generate PCT_value only for the Product_ID whose 'AdminFee is available, all other Product_IDs will have Null values under ColumnX and corresponding 9 columns. Example of how the table should look is attached.
Requirement is, I want to see all the values of Column Y for Product_IDs found in the table with an active 'AdminFee'. Essentially the table will have predominantly null values for all but for 66 products.
