AWS Database Query / Maintenance

I need to query an old AWS database to get .csv exports of all the old data to give to clients. I didn't setup the database and I'm having trouble connecting on MySQL Workbench. I'm just a designer so I'm out of my depth with this. Need some guidance & whatever maintenance needs to be done to complete this task. The database isn't actively being added to just need physical .csv docs of what's on there.
