API Integration & Make.com (Data Feed → Geckoboard Dashboard)

We’re looking for a skilled API Integration Developer who can complete this project today.
The task is to connect a live data feed via Make.com (Integromat) and send specific fields to Geckoboard for KPI display.

The data is already available via a working API (with a valid API key). Your role is to authenticate, fetch, structure, and post the data to Geckoboard’s Dataset API — ensuring the dashboard updates automatically at regular intervals.

Scope of Work:

API Connection:

Connect to an existing REST API using the provided key.

Test and confirm successful JSON response.

Identify and extract key fields (e.g. timestamp, price, change, percentage, etc.).

Make.com Scenario:

Build a Make.com scenario that fetches data automatically (every few minutes).

Map fields correctly for Geckoboard compatibility.

Include any necessary conversions or rounding (e.g. numbers, percentages, timestamps).

Add basic error handling and data validation.

Geckoboard Integration:

Use Geckoboard’s Dataset API to create or replace a dataset.

Ensure the data updates live within the dashboard.

Confirm field structure and display are correct.

Requirements:

Strong experience with Make.com (Integromat).

Proven track record of working with JSON APIs and HTTP requests.

Understanding of Geckoboard Dataset API (PUT/POST).

Fast, clear communication and ability to work independently.

Must be available to complete the setup today.

Deliverables:
