Description

Polling Website
The polling website will be developed using the Content Management System (CMS). The home page has a flash banner, and each webpage has the option for two advertising banners.
A user creates an account using email and password. Simple details are then gathered like name, username, nationality, sex and age. A terms and conditions box appears, and then has to be ticked for the user to continue. The user can then create their own polls which they are reasonable for managing. There are three levels of user account. Master account – this is the administrator account and has overall control of everything. User account – Can vote on any poll once, and has administrative privileges to their own polls they create.
Each poll has several levels of entry i.e.(media, film, sci-fi, horror, British, actors, top 100). Each level is entered using a drop down menu system which is populated by the user(s) (this is to reduce repetition). The question which is asked also has a drop down menu as the answers, and is also populated by the users taking part in the poll. Each poll has an area where people can leave feedback.
Each poll is continues, but a summary (snapshot) is taken once a year, and includes a breakdown in number of participating users, percentages, and graphs. The top 100 most popular polls are to be displayed a separate page of that year.
The polling site should have Facebok and Twitter integration.
E-Commerce Website
I see the e-commerce website as a relatively simple website, and use much of the same technology that would be developed in the polling site. The integration in the two sites is in the form of embedded polls.
The e-commerce website will be developed using the Content Management System (CMS). Home page has a flash header, and each webpage has the option for two advertising banners. The home page also has a text area which can be updated by me.
A user creates an account using email and password. Simple details are then gathered like name, username, nationality, sex and age. A terms and conditions box is ticked, and then the user has an account. The user is then given an option to create an account with polling website. It will be explained that in order to create embedded polling, you need a polling website account, however it is not mandatory, and the user can continue without doing do. A master user has overall administrative privileges.
The e-commerce site sells only three products (different forms of carbon credits). Several types of currency would be accepted. When a person/company purchases carbon credits, their ID or logo is placed in one of the three corresponding list pages. The list pages simple list the company/personal ID of who purchased, and how much carbon credits were purchased. The list pages are sorted in numerical order (money), so the company/person who purchased most carbon credits, always remain at the top of the list.
The embedded voting system: Any individual user can create a forum within the e-commerce website. They get the option to create a corresponding poll within the polling website. The poll created in the poll website would be embedded within the e-commerce website. The master user can also create and embed polls within the e-commerce website. (if this is back to front and needs to be an option in the polling site then that is fine)
The polling site should have Facebok and Twitter integration.
Reminder Website
The reminder website will be developed using the Content Management System (CMS). Home page has a flash header, and each webpage has the option for two advertising banners.
A user creates an account using email and password. Simple details are then gathered like name, username, nationality, sex and age. A terms and conditions box is ticked, and then the user has an account. The user can then input various information (date, unique number, item etc), details under various headings (insurance, receipts, etc). All users can create subject heading if one does not exist. i.e. if the user wants a heading ‘licence expire reminder’, then that user creates it, and all users are able to use that heading under their own personal database.
The websites primary function is to remind people of birthdays, events, renewals, and warranty expires etc. A reminder is flashed up on the website and/or an email is sent to the account holders own email, when the user sets the reminder time (week, month etc). The account holder can also scan receipts, certificates etc, into the database. The scanned images-documents are to use pre-set settings to reduce data space and have a format.
Yes I already know outlook, facebook has some of these functions, and yes I know that most companies will issue a reminder around a mouth before renewal date.
The database website site should have Facebok, Twitter, apple, android integration.
Company Website
The polling, E-commerce, Database and future websites, are all trading names of the ‘company website’. The company website will be developed using the Content Management System (CMS). Home page has a flash header, and each webpage has the option for two advertising banners. Apart from that, it will just say something about the company, and redirect users to the other websites.
General
All code, design etc, will belong to me, to which I have the option to have everything redirected to another site (once all payments have been settled). No company advertising will be included without my consent. Unlimited hosting and data space is to be included on all 4 websites. There are a few more websites to be developed. The winning bidder will be asked first to develop all future websites.
