Description
Experience Level: Entry
I have a list of between 5000-8000 postcodes.
For each postcode, I have to make an API call which returns data for 2-10 specific business addresses that is within a 5 mile radius. All of these businesses returned will have a postcode from the original list. And as I work my way through the original postcodes, I am wasting calls because I receiving data back that many times over.
To reduce the number of API calls, I need to find the best combination to use the least number of API calls as possible.
See screenshot:
The cells in yellow contains the 'searchable' postcode. You can see that the data being returned is duplicating because as I work through the list of yellow postcodes, I already have data returned for it multiple times.
If this is something you can help with and are interested to work on, please let me know you thoughts as well as a price. Please disregard the budget, I'm happy to pay a fair price for the work. Which is urgent (as they always are!) : )
** UPDATED **
Please note that we are using a third-party paid API which cannot be edited or manipulated
This task can only be achieved using the available data which contains
- Master list of postcodes used for searching
- The 2-10 postcodes returned, many of which will be duplicated against the master postcode list
So the task if to reference the returned data to determine the least amount of postcodes required from the master list
