MS SQL query to pyodbc

Translate” bcp utility script to pyodbc syntax.

I have a couple of bcp scripts that query an instance of Azure SQL DB and write JSON files in the local computer.

I want to execute the scripts in a Python Jupyter notebook cell using pyodbc library.

I can connect to the Azure SQL DB from a Python Jupyter notebook using pyodbc.

The following variables are defined in a cell before executing the scripts:
server, database, username, and password.

The file names are always the same, the path however should also be taken from a variable named w_dir, also defined in a cell before executing the query.
