Hi freelancers,
I need a data analyst who can quickly run analyses for me and send the results soonest. I want him/her to use SPSS and analyse some scales in PISA 2015 open dataset. The link to the Students questionnaire data file in SPSS format is available for download here http://www.oecd.org/pisa/data/2015database/
My focus is on ONLY RESPONSES FROM STUDENTS from ICELAND and JAPAN.
I am interested in measuring the correlation between students' responses to 3 scales listed below (one is already scaled in the dataset, the other two you need to create with items in the dataset):
- BELONG (already scaled in the dataset)
- DSIOS (meaning Digital Social Interaction Outside School. This is the 1st new scale to be created from all the
questions about what the students like doing with digital devices outside school.
- STUDREL (meaning Student Relationship with Teacher. This would be the 2nd new scale to be created from questions that asked the students how their teachers treat them in class.
Before the correlation analysis, please remember to test the reliability of the 2 new scales (DSIOS and
STUDREL) with Cronbach's Alpha. I would really like the scales to have strong reliability for example .65
or even more so just remove any item that will make its reliability weak.
Then do the correlation analyses with the already existing scale BELONG and the new scales DSIOS and
STUDREL.
For the result format, please:
1) State the reliability of each scale used.
2) Make neat simple scatter plots showing Bivariate association of the 3 scales.
3) Do Stepwise regression analysis table depicting 3 models:
(Model 0) DSIOS predicted by control variables e.g. Gender & Socio-economic status.
(Model 1) BELONG predicted by STUDREL
(MODEL 2) BELONG predicted by STUDREL and DSIOS
4) Add ANOVA table and Coefficients table too.
Then give a short description of each analysis you did, stating the reason for your choice of analyses and what the result means.
It is both a requirement to use SPSS specifically and also have documentation of how the results were calculated so please send both the result doc and the SYNTAX doc to me afterwards.
I urgently need someone who already understands my detailed explanation above and can proficiently tidy this up within a few hours or one day at most.
