Description
Experience Level: Entry
We're working on a project that needs some assistence, which will comprise of five statistical analyses. We have a Dataset, a questionnaire containing all the questions and we've already written five hypotheses that have to be tested. The hypotheses are:
H1 (effect of crisis history on reputation): If an organization has no crisis history, the corporate reputation is less damaged than when an organization has a negative crisis history.
H2 (effect of info source on reputation): If the source for crisis communication is the organization itself, the corporate reputation is less damaged than when the crisis communication comes from an online news source.
H3 (effect of both crisis history and source on reputation): If an organization has no crisis history and the crisis communication source is the organization itself, the corporate reputation is less damaged than when the organization has a negative crisis history and the crisis communication source is an online news medium.
H4 (moderator: media trust): The amount of media trust has no moderating effect on the association between crisis history and corporate reputation.
H5 (moderator: media trust): The amount of media trust has a moderating effect on the association between information source and corporate reputation.
We've already looked at what analyses would be fitting:
H1: IV1 (crisis history): influence on DV (reputation) --> independent samples t-test
H2: IV2 (source): influence on DV (reputation) --> independent samples t-test
H3: IV1xIV2: interaction effect on DV (reputation) --> two-way ANOVA
H4: Moderator: effect crisis history on reputation with moderator (media trust) --> multiple regression
H5: Moderator: effect info source on reputation with moderator (media trust) --> multiple regression
Before doing this, the Dataset has to be cleaned in terms of: removing respondents that haven't completed the questionnaire (use select cases or select if), respondents that filled in the survey under 2 minutes and above 30 minutes, and people that answered the same answer option too many times (‘straightlining’).
For the hypotheses:
• Conduct test and report findings
• State whether hypotheses are supported or not
We would like to receive all the syntax commands for all the adjustments and analyses as well.
For H3: include a plot in order to illustrate a significant interaction effect. If you don’t find a significant interaction effect, don’t include it.
How long would you expect this to take? We estimate this project will require 10 hours work for the right candidate.
With all quotes, we need: cost and time scales (fast turn around preferred). If you have any questions, please ask.
