Description
Experience Level: Entry
I am working with a radar netcdf file and I need to convert it to grib2 file. I have tried using xarray, iris, and cdo (climate data operators), but have not been able to successfully convert it.
I would prefer the user use an anaconda environment with Python 3.6 for scripting. The variables I am interested in within the netcdf are equivalent_reflectivity_factor, lat, lon, and time. The CF name is equivalent_reflectivity_factor, where the grib2 name is REFC or composite reflectivity. Wgrib2 can be used to add metadata such as the time dimension, if needed.
I would request the coder to provide all relevant scripts, if able to generate the product.
The data file can be accessed here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Trb9kbx9gsFrXjCz9LWEAbCBusKZf2pY/view?usp=sharing
