At the home page we have the shop with categories. By hoovering a category, there should be on that place of the category picture a sort of slideshow of the pictures of the products in that category. We are using astra theme. Nothing special but this should be programmed without admin/ftp access. Just the code which I can test for you (no problem as I'm developer myself). Website is live and working.
