Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the website: Fitness Price Comparison
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: Firstly, we are looking only for top rated sellers on PPH, any other proposals will not be considered, so please take this into account when submitting proposal.
Please, also, submit proposals relevant to this project as opposed to one liner, or generic proposals. Thanks! :)
There are a few issues with out site which need fixing, nothing major, so thinking this is only a day's work for someone who knows what they are doing, hence the budget we have set - but please let us know if you think this is way off!
We use Wordpress, with the Rehub theme, are using Datafeedr plugin on our price comparison website for the API requests. THere is some code that can be used to bring through the datafeedr price from the product comparison table into the archive pages (so when looking at the category "Exercise Bikes", you see the lowest price currently cached in the comparison sets).
Here is an example of code that apparently does the job:
https://gist.github.com/datafeedr/b1a2c32800ca65af33dce6f5422c7c72#file-modify_main_product_price-php
We have plugin for advanced filters for Woocommerce, but this is not displaying correctly, and apparently needs updating. Again, instructions for this, but not confident of doing it myself:
https://mihajlovicnenad.com/product-filter/documentation-and-full-guide-video/
And the "sort by" on product archive pages on Woocommerce is not working. If you wish to sort by price high to low etc, nothing happens, This needs fixing.
Here is example of category page for Dumbbells. On filters within "fitness equipment" categories, things like bar weight, individual weight, material etc do not show as options on the filters and believe this is probably likely due to update which needs doing, as settings are exactly the same as other attributes which are showing.

The above I believe is doable on the £500 budget for this project. Again, in your proposal, if you can let me know estimated time for this, that would be ace so I can compare the proposals more accurately.
If I am overestimating how much time is required, the following 3 items would be awesome if they could be included in the budget. If not, an estimate of costs for this work, too, or would you believe is achievable within the budget would be fantastic:
1. For some reason the "dynamic comparison" function of the Rehub theme - which used to work no longer works. Simple setting should allow comparing 2 products side by side and used to work fine.
2. Copying the code on voucher codes no longer works. NOrmally you click the cope and it changes to say "copied" and the code can be pasted on the retailers website at checkout. This also used to work, but now does not.

3. Product filters appear at bottom on mobile devices. On other sites, there is button abover the list of products with "refine" or something similar. When you click this, the options for filtering opens. This way, people don't have to scroll all the way to get to them if they want to use them on mobile devices. Maybe there is settings in advanced woocommerce filter plugin for this?
Looking forward to your proposals!
Thanks
