Wordpress website development with integration via API

Hi,

A client has asked us to create a basic wordpress website based that will be their public facing website. They are a training provider wanting to advertise their courses.

We would like a wordpress website designed and developed with integration with our system's API. Happy to have the website based around a template as long as it matches their current branding and colour scheme. Ideally it would be mobile friendly.

Here is a brief overview of the pages required, certain pages
1. Home - Pull through a list of categories via API (discussed below) and a search for courses and display a few basic text panels.
2. Contact - Map, contact details and enquiry form
3. Category page - Display a basic list of courses within that particular category (as clicked on from the home page). Courses would be pulled through our API, showing the course name, course image and maybe course description.
4. Course page - Display information about the course, pulled from API; including course name image and HTML content to build the content page. Another API call - Display list of course dates for that course. If there aren't any, add the ability for them to enquire using an enquiry form that'll send an email.

API Integration:
PHP knowledge is essential to build the API integration and ideally they would be created as plugins so it can potentially be used by other clients in the future. The API is a rest API and it returns the data in XML format. The API's required are:
1. Course category list - Used in 1 above
2. Course list - Used in 3 above
3. Course information - Used in 4 above
4. Dates of courses - Used in 4 above

We're expanding our customer base and we fully expect their to be multiple clients in a similar situation in the future and so opportunities for future work and further plugin development also.
