Wordpress + PHP Developer to link posts & populate custom fields

LINK MAP LOCATIONS TO ACTIVITY POSTS

Deliverables
• Create relationship between Map Location Post and Activity Post.
• Populate Advanced Custom Fields on post editor based on linked post.

I will then use the custom fields on the post to build single page templates on Elementor.



On Map Location post:
Populate Enter URL field by taking the post title, prepend with /activity/
ie. /activity/[post_title] translates to /activity/Barnet

This is so that the Map Location pin redirects to the correct parent Activity post on front end when clicked by the user on the interactive map.



On Activity post:
On Activity post types I need an ACF relational field in the post editor to select the relevant linked Map Location post.
ie Barnet Activity Post links to Barnet Map Location post by selecting the Barnet Map Location post from the dropdown.


Populate Location field
on Activity post editor the ACF google map field “activity address” should then be populated with location field from Map Location post.

Populate venue features
On Activity post, Venue feature checkbox custom fields are to be pulled to match the linked Map Location.
