Experience Level: Entry
I need a full domain switchover for my WordPress membership site — not a clone left running in parallel, the complete move.

Current site: Hosted on a standard managed WordPress host, built in WordPress/Divi, approx. 180 pages.

Membership: Runs on MemberPress, with a small number of active paying members, connected to Stripe and PayPal.

What I need done:
1. Clone the full site (including MemberPress and all member data) to a new domain
2. Reconnect MemberPress + Stripe/PayPal so payments and member logins work correctly on the new domain
3. Test thoroughly — confirm login and a test payment work before going further
4. Once confirmed working: redirect the old domain to the new domain, so it's a genuine switchover, not two sites running side by side
5. I will handle updating my own Stripe/PayPal payout/bank details separately — this is not required from you

Looking for: Someone with specific, proven experience migrating WordPress sites that use MemberPress — please confirm in your application that you've done this before, not just general WordPress work.

Domain names, hosting login, and full site details will be shared privately once a freelancer is selected.

Budget: Fixed price, £100.

    Could you please answer the following:

    1. Who is the new hosting provider, and is WordPress already installed on the new domain?

    2. Which versions of MemberPress and Divi are you currently using?

    3. Are there any additional plugins or third-party integrations (e.g., email marketing, CRM, caching) that also need to be migrated and reconfigured?

    4. Will you provide access to both the current hosting account, the new hosting account, and the domain DNS settings?

    5. Would you like us to schedule the final domain switchover during a low-traffic period to minimize downtime?

    6. Should we also migrate email accounts associated with the old domain, or is the website migration only?

    7. Do you require a full backup and rollback plan before the migration begins?

    Before the switchover, do you want MemberPress licensing, Stripe/PayPal webhooks, and email notifications reconfigured directly on the new domain, or should they remain unchanged apart from the domain update?
