Wordpress developer - full-time worker required

We require a web design all-rounder to work with our business full time. Skills required:

Wordpress
SEO optimisation
Web based graphic design & Photoshop / Illustrator

We sell between 8 and 15 premium theme based websites per month which have previously been done in-house - we are now looking to outsource this work so that we can concentrate on business development.

We sell primarily to small, local businesses in the UK - plumbers, electricians, carpenters, restaurants etc. The websites are always based on premium themes, most often 2 or 3 different Elegant Themes. You can expect (after an initial trial period) to have up to 10 projects going on simultaneously as we wait for clients to provide feedback or content.

WORK PROCESS (TRIAL PERIOD)

1 - You will receive login details for a Wordpress site with the premium theme already installed.

2 - You will be required to set up the site from this starting point - Menus, content, homepage, sliders, images, sidebars, SEO titles, keywords, plugins etc. A work-flow task sheet will be provided but you must be able to work independently.

3 - Client will give feedback

4 - Further work to complete site

5 – Further client feedback or sign off as complete

Our most common package is a 5 page brochure site which we will pay you a set fee of £80. Initial site set-up can easily be done in 1 –2 hours but after client feedback typically a website takes a total of about 4 hours spread over different days.

Sometimes the client does not like the style of the site for whatever reason and so it needs a new premium theme and it takes a bit longer. The fee for a 5 page website is always the same - £80 - irrespective of how long the site takes to complete. Therefore a good project which takes 2 - 3 hours (the majority) will balance out the ones which take 4 - 5 hours.

We can provide very detailed support and direction for the winning developer including a breakdown of work-flow and examples of our previous work from which to take guidance.

We need someone who has a professional attitude and wants to learn our processes and become part of what is already a successful team. Applicants from outside of the UK are welcome. We require an excellent communicator and someone you can think for themselves.

In the vast majority of cases no theme designing is required - mostly it is premium theme customisation. HOWEVER - you must have a very good eye for what looks like a clean, crisp and professional website. Anything which looks even remotely shoddy or amateurish will not be acceptable. We will only consider applicants with plenty of high ratings in PPH. We are offering a trial site and can quickly provide more work if it proves a successful arrangement.
