WordPress debugging/tweaking in site transition (theme vs. Jetpack error?)

Experience Level: Intermediate
need a wordpress handyman to help us with a wordpress error we're getting

we are dealing with:
- fresh wordpress installation
- jetpack plugin installed
- Karuna theme installed from theme store

Theme customisation page doesn't work, throws error:
PHP Fatal error: Class 'WP_Customize_Nav_Menu_Setting' not found in C:\inetpub\vhosts\\\wp-includes\class-wp-customize-nav-menus.php on line 490

Theme customisation page doesn't work with jetpack disable, too. throws different error:
PHP Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, class 'WP_Customize_Nav_Menus' does not have a method 'filter_dynamic_setting_args' in C:\inetpub\vhosts\\\wp-includes\class-wp-hook.php on line 298

Need someone to debug this and get the customisation working again.

(Will provide WordPress login credentials. Will provide FTP details. Will assist with any file/folder permissions modifications that need making too.)

    Hi I have checked the issue and can solve it as well.

    we can try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue,we can try switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
