General information for the website: We sell men's clothes
Description of requirements/features: I have a woocommerce site selling clothes. I need a function writing to modify how woocommerce's inbuilt product filters work:

As standard the product filters only test whether a parent product is available in the selected attributes and is instock - but "instock" applies to the entire parent product.

Instead, I need it to test whether there is an individual variation that matches ALL of the selected attributes and is in stock.

I have the basis of a function already, but it doesn't quite work as hoped:

It scans through the results of the filter and for each product checks whether there is an instock variation that matches the search criteria.

So you can either fix the code I have written or write it from scratch.

So basically I need a woocommerce expert who is familar with how the filters work.
