Videos on website need a "close" button (X)

I have a page on my website that has a video grid. Right now, on the desktop version, when a user plays a video, there is no option to close the video window. The mobile and tablet versions have the same issue. I would like to have an X near a corner of the video, so the user can press it, close the video and return to the page that shows the video grid. See the attached photo of how I would like it to look.

The website is wordpress using the elementor plugin.
