Two Wordpress Tasks to Be Completed (quick turnaround needed)

I have a couple of tasks that need to be done on a new site I built. There are a couple custom CSS things that need to be done.

The first, remove the author section from the blog posts including the byline at the top as well.

The second thing is helping me format the blogs. I'm adding images and the content is just not lining up properly. I can't get the formatting to look right. I want the content to sit a top the images I am adding in below but I can't get it to line up properly.

I tried using line breaks and p tags but wasn't able to get the formatting right. I want to make sure that this works properly in mobile too, not just desktop.
