Tasks for Joomla website: SQL query, fix a form, fix search, fix category blog

Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of every page/module: 1. fix newsletter signup: the mailchimp form is ugly and takes up too much room
2. write SQL script to edit a table: need a query written so that I can use it to make bulk changes
3. fix search: none of the search options I have trued work dependably, quickly, and smoothly
4. fix newsletter blog: I try to set a category blog to show one article in full, with no more articles, just a list of other articles in the category. Cannot make this work for some reason; cannot find anyone else who has this same problem.
Description of requirements/features: This is just miscellaneous tasks that require knowledge of sql queries and joomla administration.
