1. Project Overview
AngloAfrica Telematics is a UK-based company providing vehicle tracking solutions for customers with vehicles operating in Africa. To support growth, streamline sales, manage customer relationships, and ensure operational efficiency, the company requires the implementation of Salesforce CRM.
The contractor will be responsible for planning, configuring, customizing, testing, and deploying Salesforce to meet the organization’s business requirements, as well as providing training and post-go-live support.
2. Project Objectives
Establish a scalable Salesforce CRM to manage leads, customers, partners, and devices.
Integrate sales pipeline, commission structures, and regional director reporting into Salesforce.
Automate workflows for subscription billing (annual service fees) and order management.
Provide management dashboards for UK HQ, regional directors, and global oversight.
Ensure data protection, GDPR compliance, and secure access control.
Deliver user-friendly interfaces and training to maximize adoption.
3. Scope of Services
The contractor will provide the following services:
A. Discovery & Planning
Conduct stakeholder workshops to define detailed requirements.
Map current business processes (sales, installation, billing, commissions, customer support).
Develop a project plan with timelines and milestones.
B. System Configuration
Configure Salesforce Sales Cloud (and Service Cloud if required).
Set up custom objects for:
Vehicle trackers
Annual service subscriptions
Commission structures (10%, 15%, 5% etc.)
Regional/global director reporting
Define user roles, permissions, and data security models.
C. Customization & Development
Build automated workflows for:
New customer onboarding
Subscription renewal reminders
Commission calculation & reporting
Develop dashboards and reports for:
Sales pipeline (UK HQ vs. regional)
Active subscriptions
Commission earnings by role
Implement integrations (email, website forms, payment gateway if required).
D. Data Migration
Import existing customer and vehicle tracker data into Salesforce.
Cleanse, validate, and standardize data during migration.
E. Testing & Quality Assurance
Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Address defects and refinements before go-live.
F. Training & Documentation
Deliver training sessions for HQ staff, regional directors, and administrators.
Provide user manuals and quick-reference guides.
G. Go-Live & Support
Deploy Salesforce to production environment.
Provide 30–60 days of post-go-live support.
Transition knowledge to internal administrators.
