General information for the website: An Android app sends reports to Wordpress via an API
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: We are developing an ecosystem that connects an Android content gathering app with a web-based moderation and publication platform. The web platform is built as a Wordpress Plugin that uses the JSON API plugin for Wordpress to build the moderation panel based on Angular.

The Android app does two things 1) syncs directly with the server via an API and 2) Saves reports in a zip file on the phone.

This job is about the zip file.

In the zip file are
1) An XML file that holds information about a report
2) Media attachments for each report

We need you to build a parser that puts the XML into the WP database and attaches the media items to those entries.

Shouldn't be too bad.
