Intro
Berkshire Tri Squad is a non-profit making sports club, based in Windsor, UK. Made up of approximately 130 members, we compete at all levels of triathlon from local novice races up to World Amateur level and all distances from Sprint to Ironman.
Our primary place for communicating club news, member and prospective member information on our club, its’ sessions, joining fees and other activity is the website. This can be found at the domain above.
Current Set-up
The site is currently hosted with Siteground, on their Start-up package. This contains a Wordpress install and use of a customised ‘Damla’ theme. There is a 2nd domain name berkshiretrisquad.co.uk that redirects to the .com site. This site was built approximately 4 years ago and has been maintained by non-technical administrators within the club since that time.
Primarily this involves uploading new News items into various categories, as well as the occasional creation of new pages with the site structure to cover new additions to the site.
Requirement
Due to the nature of the theme personalisation and the fact that the Damla theme was not Responsive when the site was designed and the theme heavily personalised, our current site does not give the best mobile experience to our visitors.
We would like the current site (on the same domain and hosting platform) to be re-engineered with a new version of the (ideally) Damla theme to allow Responsive functionality, but maintain all of the current menu and button functionality.
We would like to keep all of the current content, or at least the last 24 months of posts.
We would like to maintain some if not all of the black and yellow theme personalisation
