Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: New WP site for a lunch company. Just needs minor edits to the template
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: The website is nearly done but we have a few minor CSS based changes that need making in the WordPress child theme before we launch it.
I will give more detail and images for the person who takes this on but as an overview….
1) We have a Gravity form that needs to limit your selections in one part of the form based on what you select elsewhere. I’m thinking this is a Javascript thing but open to suggestions.
2) We need a short code that shows only two specific buttons and images out of a possible 8. This will be based on a number that is passed to the page using a query string.
3) We have between 6 and 8 forms that need re-skining to make them all a unified look.
4) We have an image for a Video at the moment and the link pushes you directly to Vimeo. We’d like the image to swap out on click for the video code so you can play in situ.
5) We have created a few styles and overrides in the child theme. These all need checking on mobile and adjusting as needed with @media queries
6) We have a slight issue with some overrides in the child theme not applying to button styles
7) We have created a short code for the AddThis service however its not working exactly as we need and is printing out links on the page instead of showing buttons.
8) Currently the theme has a custom post type called “Projects” that we would like to override to “Menu” in the child theme if possible.
All this needs to be done while ensuring we can still update the parent theme without breaking anything. If this is not possible we will need to discuss alternatives.
