Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Job:
Make Mamp 'localhost' see a downloaded sick wordpress site. I need to grab info to rebuild the site online.
We need to configure some of the PHP to help the local host see the site locally so I can grab text and images and recreate the structure of the site on the web hosted replacement.
Background:
I have some wordpress experience, making 10 or so sites.
I have downloaded a sick web site and am using Mamp on my Mac.
Mamp is on and probably working ok.
I don't know PHP but have made the phpmyadmin panel see the database.
The original site has been locked down on the server and so plugins won't help me move the site to my local host.
