I need to install a database/catalogue of products within a WordPress installation.

General information for the website: A plant nursery require a simple to use online catalogue with about 1,000 plants, short descriptions & images
Kind of development: New website from scratch
Description of requirements/features: Plants need to be presented in an alphabetical list by name (within categories example: roses/ geraniums)with a short description and one image. The catalogue will need a simple alphabetical menu for navigation. Editing and making additions and deletions needs to be simple. The website will be responsive so the catalogue should be too. The data is currently held in an Excel spreadsheet.

Extra notes: I will be using a Twenty Thirteen child theme WordPress site. This will be installed and ready with pages and posts early May 1.
