We have been very badly let down by another supplier, and this is a company engaged in charitable works for children..

In this difficult time it is important that we can count on our provider to engage with the same level of passion and commitment that we all show to the project.

Due to the current Coronavirus situation our in-house design team is out of action taking care of family / children, so there's more work for a good designer - not just Wordpress / websites, but in general 2D design.

BRIEF:

I need a an advanced & experienced Wordpress designer / developer who is free to pull an all-nighter over what's left of this weekend to create a website.

The site is a maximum 8 page linear site.

The content for the site is prepared, copy, links, pagination guide, full instructions and a corporate style guide are supplied.
The job must be at least 80% finished for client presentation by Monday at 8.00 GMT.

What You'll Get To Work With:

You'll receive a .pdf document with all pages, copy and instructions, together with a .zip document containing a folder structure created page-by-page, identical to site structure, that is 95% complete with assets, links and all other necessary documents. Some documents which are for download from the site will be dummies or first drafts that will be replaced at a later date using an identical naming convention.

We'll also supply a professionally produced corporate style guide and a link to an existing website form within the group for you to follow.

We will be available to answer questions throughout the process and will move Heaven & Earth to help you deliver.

The site MUST exactly mirror the other sites in the group of companies, so the designer's ability to follow an existing style guide is critically important to this project. The brief is therefore very prescriptive.

There are some mandatory requirements for the job:

1. The style guide MUST be followed. There is no room for random creativity.. (I'm a creative myself, so I know how hard it is not to try to improve on what is already there!! ;)

2. You must be prepared to complete the job to at least 80% finished product, with the assets provided, by Monday morning, 8.00am UK time. The budget reflects the need to get the job done quickly, and there will be an additional budget for subsequent work & changes to the site in April.

There will then be a feedback stage before the final round of amends prior to going live. The site will need to be handed over to our Dev team and the CMS will need to be accessible to us.

3. You must be prepared to communicate with me on regular basis over the weekend - ask questions, co-create iteratively if necessary. I have been badly let down by another designer who ignored the style guide and insisted on working in a silo. You should be prepared to ask a question such as "What do you think of this idea?" rather than just execute the idea and then present it on Monday as a fait accompli. I will make myself available 24/7 on Telegram / What's app so you can reach me at any time.
To ensure accuracy, complete fluency in English is absolutely essential.

4. Flexibility is vital - my clients are making themselves available over the weekend to look at iterations, and may change their minds over the use of a picture or headline.

5. We have selected a few templates that we like and can provide links to these, however if you have your own template that will work equally well, that's OK as long as it will work with everything we need to do.

6. The structure is one-page scroll with seven or eight page anchors to delineate page markers, with a top menu (Not a hamburger please!)

7. It should be mobile optimised, but not essential by Monday!

Nice to haves...

1. If you have blockchain / cryptocurrency / Token Sale experience or knowledge, that would be great!

2. The project is for a social media type platform that supports children's charities and is 100% female orientated, so a female designer would be ideal. That doesn't mean we would arbitrarily award the job to a lady - the best designer is preferred, but we do champion equality & diversity and are an ethical organisation which only works for ethical clients.

Sorry to be so prescriptive with the brief - As a creative myself I'm not normally a control freak, but we've been really badly let down on this job already, so it's unfortunately necessary.
