Description of requirements/features: Business Requirement:
My client would like to build an online Event directory within a niche sector. The events directory needs to have the following basic features:

1. To have a search facility by time, category and location of the events. This will be on the home page.
2. To allow Event Organisers to do the following:
a. add events into the categories we define.
b. sell tickets.
c. Have a landing page displaying their event details.
d. Social media links for the events.
3. Set up a price plan for the Event Organisers and get paid via PayPal or Stripe.
4. Allow users to log in and become a member. They will be able to tag or add to favourites the types of events they are looking for. They will then receive a notification i.e. email to let them know that a new event has been created matching their criteria.
5. To send an online newsletter to the members.
6. Import events as a bulk from a csv file.
7. To schedule the bulk import on a daily basis.
He would also like to build an online review magazine which will allow authors to review and rate the events from the event directory. The events will be shown in different categories (or sections) like family, business or food.

Technical Solution:
The solution will involve building the whole site from scratch using WordPress and plugins that match as closely as possible the business requirements.
The look and feel for the site is very important so some design work will be needed. A logo has already been designed and we have some basic colours in mind. The site is to be developed using WordPress. The following plugins have been identified.
Events Directory plugin. Including the ticket tailor plugin.
