Help with search page on wordpress blog

I have a wordpress page built using betheme.

I need somebody to code my search results page so that it can be filtered by date and category (similar to what this page does https://theluxurytraveller.com/category/aircanada/ but using a dropdown menu for the filters).

I'd like the search results page to present the results in a layout similar to the tiled layout in the Flight reviews section on my homepage.

I would like results provided in terms of relevance and date
