Help customize wordpress plugin/theme functionality

I am working with freelance theme by (https://freelanceengine.enginethemes.com/).. I have changed some theme template wording (nothing to affect functionality). The freelance/employer payment flow is not working properly. The developers have used PayPal and Stripe payment hooks. I need a developer to help make these work as they should. Unfortunately i am not getting any help from developers, probably they look at it as custom work, so I want to deal with an unaffiliated party. I also need some options killed. Just a few (2 or 3) and may involve removing some theme strings of code.
