Front-end production designer (WordPress specialist)

Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Front End Production Designer with strong WordPress expertise to build, maintain, and optimise high-quality websites. The ideal candidate combines strong front-end development skills with deep knowledge of WordPress themes, templates, and performance best practices, while implementing creative direction and pre-set designs across projects.

You will work closely with the Creative Director, Associate Creative Director and Backend Developer and alongside project/account managers and leadership to deliver responsive, accessible, and user-focused digital experiences while building out page layouts and structures in WordPress. Experience using the Blocksy theme is ideal but not required.

This is a contract role with flexible hours, ideal for a mid-level designer who can convert creative direction into responsive page designs—and who understands that in the water sector, credibility, trust, and clarity matter more than clicks.

Key Responsibilities
WordPress Administration
Create staging sites, managing site backups and transfers
Manage WordPress CMS configuration
Install and customise WordPress plugins and functionality
Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress performance and functionality issues
Manage API integrations and Hubspot connections
