Directory web building assistance with WordPress/Directorypress

I need assitance with Wordpress/Directory press to build website. I have my domain, I have directoy press installed but I need assitence to build website. Im overwelmed with wordpress and I dont know how to use it. I would like a simple yet nice looking website using wordpress for my buisness. I would also like input on how to use it once its built. My website is a Directory for Latin Music Bands.
