What i need is this.
On my website i have a redirect url. That URL redirects the user to a random post on my wordpress website. I use XML feeds to generate the posts, within the XML feed is a unique URL.
What i want is this. When the redirect goes to a random post. I want that random post to redirect to its dynamic URL. I have tried this myself and i created a function that i add to the post when it is created via the XML feed. But when it creates the post the function is removed and therfor fails.
So that is the trick.
Here is an example....
Say this is the xml feed.
one
one
domainone.co.uk
two
two
domaintwo.co.uk
three
three
domainthree.co.uk
In this example 3 posts would be created. And rather than the user having to click a button to get the full details that would go to the URL in the xml feed. I want this to automatically redirect the user.
I have a test website for you to work on. And if you can get it working on the test site then you will be required to move it to the live website.
I look forward to hearing from you and getting this off the ground.
