Description
Experience Level: Entry
This filter called “Advanced Search” came with the theme and currently doesn’t work- So there are 2 options:
1) try fix it
2) Make it from scratch and make it better
On the homepage here : https://thewanderingwaiter.com/. Customers can search for different restaurants based on the location of the restaurant. If you enter “London” into the search bar and click search you will see 4 restaurants.
On the left you will see a filter called “Advanced Search” this helps customers filter to find different restaurant profiles.
The problem is that the location setting does not work. The box called Radius needs to be unticked in order for the search to work and then the radius bar does not work. For example
If you tick “Asian” food, tick the box for “Open Now” and set the radius bar to 5 miles and then search you will see the results show 2 restaurants called Misa and Sushiya.
But Misa is in London and Sushiya is in Cambridge. Cambridge is 50 miles away from London so Sushiya should not appear in the search results.
