Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the website: Magazine website riskandinsurance.com
Num. of web pages/modules: Plugin
Description of every page/module: This should be built as a WordPress plugin
Description of requirements/features: Purpose:
To allow visitors to the web page to rank 6 images, then submit their rankings and see the results.
The page and images to be ranked are here:
http://www.riskandinsurance.com/category/the-risk-list/
How it works:
A visitor to the page should be able to drag and drop images up and down on a page to rank the images 1-6. (See attachment “schematic-vertical-01-tiles.jpg”) The visitor should be able to click on a red tile and drag it up or down to change the order of the tiles. The black boxes with numbers are either attached to the red tiles and change as the order changes, or they remain in place, in which case the other tiles would have to switch positions so there’s only one red tile per black box.
Once the visitor is satisfied with the order, he/she clicks the button to submit his/her order of images. The tiles are replaced through Ajax with the results of how other people ranked the images. (See attachment “schematic-vertical-01-results.jpg”) The results would be rank by the image that was most often ranked #1, ranked #2...ranked #6.
Timing is ASAP
Specific technologies required: Javascript, HTML, CSS, PHP
Extra notes: Looking for experienced, highly qualified independent developer. Do not wish to engage with agency. Will have multiple projects for right person.
