Configure the WP Store Dashboard to my website

I have a website using WP Store template. The site has fatal error after installing a background plugin. I need this plugin removed, the WP Store dashboard access restored and fully accessible. I have WP 2.8.1 installed as the store template is not supported on later version of WP. I do not, repeat do not wish to upgrade WP and I wish to keep using the WP Store template as it is FREE. I will consider other free WP store type templates BUT they MUST have similar appearance and options to WP Store template. Thanks
