Description

Experience Level: Expert
We are looking for a designer to help build a portal where our workers can login and view their employment documents including; payslip, contract of employment, benefit system, training programme, certificates, holiday pay etc. This system will build and evolve and will be an integral part of CFC's client offering.

Each system today is provided through stand alone technology platforms including; Octopaye, Xero and others, each operating open API enabling a simple integration to a front end management portal.

Due to GDPR rules this needs to be very secure as it will hold personal and financial data.

    A few technical questions before deciding on the best architecture:

    How do Octopaye, Xero, and your other platforms expose employee-specific data and documents through their APIs?

    What security and access-control requirements do you have for GDPR compliance, particularly preventing cross-employee or cross-client data access?

    Should the portal simply unify the existing platforms, or do you also need centralized document storage and data synchronization?

    One question: How many workers will the portal serve at launch, and will each worker’s data come from a single payroll platform or will some workers have records spread across multiple systems such as both Octopaye and Xero simultaneously?
