Description
Experience Level: Entry
I have a WooCommerce store which connects to the Google CloudPrint service (I have desktop-roll-fed, label printers in my stores).
I am looking for a barcode printing solution which will allow the following procedure:
1. Each item has a numerical SKU created by WooBoooster, we can create a barcode label for each stock item using that SKU (already have plugins which can do this).
2. When an order is paid for (either in the retail store, or online) it should trigger a command to automatically print a new label which contains the Customer's address details (or the 'click and collect' information we have from another plugin).
3. Also on the address label should be another barcode, which when scanned (by a bluetooth hand-held scanner or a smartPhone), will update the store's inventory showing -1 unit and moving the order status to a new category 'Dispatched'.
4. We have four stores, the label for an order must print out for only the store that the order is relevant to. The online store's inventory is accessible by all the retail outlets, each store can be selected at checkout to be a 'collection' point.
To add some history to this job, I have tried most of the free and paid WP/Woo plugins, many can do some of the tasks, but none can achieve the complete system we require. If you propse to use a WP plugin, let me know I'll probably have a license for it.
If your solution requires custom PHP, it must be added to the Theme's child theme or built as a standalone plugin to protect it from WooCommerce and WP version updates.
You'll need to set up a Google CloudPrint account to test the system and show me the successful print jobs appearing in the queue please.
I have suggested a price of £240 because that equates to the hours it would take me to write a plugin to do this task, but I have to work on other projects, so the task is open to your propsals.
