Description
Experience Level: Entry
I need VBA experience freelancer , who can handle my project easily.
Note the following instructions:
1. Worksheet "Room Allocation" shows what the final product should look like
2. Effectively this is a matrix of clients and companies
3. We must optimize this for clients, i.e. a client cannot be left waiting. Eg suppose a client wants to meet companies, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. So all his meetings must be back-to-back. Also, they need to finish by 6pm, so last meeting for every client cannot be after 6pm.
4. Note that a company can only meet one client at a time, so there cannot be overlap (i.e. a company name cannot appear twice in a column)
5. Worksheet "All Data" gives master list of which client wants to meet which company.
6. What i tried to do was to put it in a pivot table (worksheet "Meeting Schedule", rows 1-18) and then arrange that pivot table so that it's closest to what we need to see
7. Then I used VBA and a bunch of for and if statements to try and organize the data in this manner. However i can't seem to get the loops to work properly.
You can try to edit my code or try from scratch (i recommend the latter
